Sign On Bonus AvailablePosition:
The House Supervisor position is a full-time, 40-hours-per-week, third-shift position and requires holiday rotation. The position reports to the VP of Patient Care Services.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing schoolCurrently licensed and registered to practice as a RN in the state of OH, or valid OH compact license.
BLS requiredACLS required within one year for full & part-time house supervisors (excludes resource and support staff) recommended to be taken at Wayne Healthcare.
PALS preferredMinimum of 3 years current experience as a charge/staff nurse with demonstrated administrative and leadership abilities OR, Minimum of 2 years experience in a nursing managerial position.
Job Responsibilities:
Integrate nursing service into the organizations primary functions, and attain the organizations MissionCoordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental servicesDevelops and implements Nursing standards and procedures that guide and support the provision of services for the nursing department and the hospitalRecommend a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care, including treatmentContinuously assess and improve the performance of care and services providedUnderstands the principles and steps of problem solving and acts as a resource to others in problem identification and resolutionSupervises RNs, LPNs, operating room technicians, nursing assistants, and clerical support personnel.
