Job description
The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care and Pain Medicine at NYU Langone Health, located in Manhattan, New York, is seeking full-time Regional Anesthesiologists with clinical and teaching responsibilities to staff its ORs. Candidates must be board certified and have regional anesthesiology fellowship training or extensive experience in regional anesthesia along with a current New York State medical license.
Beyond a dynamic work atmosphere, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The annual base salary range for a junior faculty role is $405,000 to $415,000. In addition to this base salary, attendings earn significant clinical incentive and call pay which typically results in a salary over $500,000. Additional dollars are contributed to the physician's 403B after the 1st year of employment. Candidates who qualify for higher faculty appointments are also encouraged to apply.
Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including faculty appointment, credentials, research history, specialty, and health system needs. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive or other forms of compensation or benefits.
