    Brief:
    We are looking for a self-directed and extroverted individual driven to use their community focused background to strengthen the ties connecting Rising Light Ridge, a ministry intent on building a community of belonging, to the local region. The ideal candidate will be filled up by building relationships and understanding opportunities for connection using the RLR voice. The role would include facilitating conversations and meetings within the community. They will also understand the community of Northeast Pennsylvania. The candidate will be able to flex priorities through different seasons in a camp environment.


    Reports to:

    President, Rising Light Ridge
    Community Relations· Represent RLR in community building events to create a network of relationships with local organizations, churches, and schools· Engage in outreach through local churches, schools, and universities to create awareness of and participation in RLR programs and events· Expand partnership with local organizations to create ministry programming opportunities on campus· Create and maintain a positive perception of RLR in the NEPA community· Evaluate current community engagement opportunities for impact and adjust strategy as needed
    Camper Relations· Contact last year's campers to encourage repeat registrations· Organize and send camp information and packets to registered campers and families· Coordinate and maintain camper paperwork; maintain the campus database and distribute periodic updates· Ensure effective follow up prior to, during, and following camps and other events
    Communications· Answer and follow up to phone calls and voicemails on the main RLR phone line· Manage communication with participants, staff, community partners and vendors, as needed· Prepare online and printed forms for participants, staff, community partners and vendors, deploy as needed· Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure resources are being used to recruit potential volunteer candidates from the community· Coordination with the Marketing and Communications Manager to leverage traditional and social marketing channels to tell stories and encourage engagement with RLR· Partner with other staff on projects and other tasks as needed and at the direction of the President· All other duties as assigned
    Experience and Qualifications:· At least 3-5 years' experience in a role focused on relationship building· Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously· Effectively utilize CRM or comparable office software· Strong computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and SaaS applications· Ability to adapt in a rapidly growing environment· Ability to uphold the mission and heart of Rising Light Ridge and the Tim Tebow Foundation
