- Gain understanding of a customer's current infrastructure and the requirements to migrate to centrally managed services
- Adequately communicate all pre-conditional work/requirements to ensure migration timelines are being met
- Assist in developing a prioritization and migration plan to include NREN responsibilities, resourcing, and timelines
- Work closely with WC's technical implementers and project managers to ensure understanding, risks, and limitations
- Create and maintain detailed diagrams, playbooks, checklists, issue trackers, and best practices, (and any other documents) to support migration efforts
- Work with the WC's team to troubleshoot technical issues and risks, providing the required technical support as needed
- Post-migration evaluation of adopted service
- Desired skillset would include depth of knowledge of the Windows ecosystem to include Windows Server Core, Windows 10/11, Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Group Policy management, Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
- Knowledge of Microsoft's Hardened Forest model and delegated role based access model
- Understanding of additional NREN technologies and services to include but not limited to Containerization, virtualization, Tenable.
- Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure including installation, test, upgrades and other required maintenance
- Provide network configuration and documentation including network drawings and hardware/software lists
- Ensure services, configurations, and infrastructure conform to all applicable SLAs, MOA/MOUs, and Design Documents
- Provide administration and network security on all production services
- Manage computer/user accounts, privileges and system access
- Manage system resources in the monitoring of performance, capacity, availability, serviceability and recoverability
- Implement security procedures, resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems
- Ensure system availability, functionality, integrity and efficiency, and maintain system configuration and documentation
- Create and update documentation of standard procedures and processes
- Respond to assigned service requests, as well as maintain and update service request ticketing system with accurate accounting of the details of tasking performed
- Documenting these details includes, but is not limited to, problem resolution, time spent, follow-on actions, resulting change requests or subtasks, and closing out tickets in a timely manner

The selected applicant will:

Anticipate tasking to be applicable under the following SOW language for network and system administration:
In lieu of a degree, an additional four (5) years of relevant work experience or certifications/training are required
At least five (5) years of experience in network design, administration, procedures and troubleshooting is required
The selected applicants must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level III Certification (CASP +) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments
Security Clearance:
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required
Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
