    Details:
    Responsibilities:
    • Implement systems and procedures that assure compliance with Quality Standards.
    • Create, review and continuously improve Quality inspection work instructions, processes, and procedures.
    Perform internal and supplier audits. Issue internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CAR/SCAR).
    • Work with customers on customer complaints (lead and organize containment action, root cause analysis and short and long term corrective and preventive actions).
    • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
    • Participate in Design Reviews, including technical reviews, Feasibility discussions, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
    • Develop, formalize, implement, and manage a Supplier Quality system that ensures incoming components meet specifications.
    • Provide material review dispositions (MRB) for non conformances.
    • Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality.
    • Ensure calibration of quality instruments is performed.
    • Review, prepare and submit PPAP's.

    Job RequirementsDetails:
    years of experience
    • Proven working experience as a Quality Engineer and expertise in the area of Quality.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 regulations and industry standards.
    • Experience with FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, PPAP.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment of constant change.
    • GD&T Knowledge: Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
    • Proficient in the use of statistical analysis and preparing reports and pareto charts.
    • Experience performing data analysis.
    • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
    • Computer experience with Microsoft Office products.

    Preferred:

    • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Auditor certifications
    • Lean Six Sigma:
    Green or Black Belt certification.- Basic Mechanical/Manufacturing-Assembly Skills
