    Description


    The Plant Controller functions as a business partner with plant and financial management to effectively manage and control the local business.

    Accountable for plant-level responsibilities including general accounting, cost accounting, business analysis and financial reporting.


    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:


    Conduct complex analyses of costs for a significant part of the business to identify variances, suggest efficiencies, and increase profitability.

    Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.

    Set and lead execution of the data and analytics reporting plan, creating strategies and templates to report data in a meaningful way.

    Create, present, and communicate high-impact data and analytics insights and recommendations to critical internal and external stakeholders.

    Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial anize and prepare complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

    Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
    Track progress against budgets within established finance systems and report variances to more senior colleagues.
    Take responsibility for setting and managing area budgets so they align with organizational strategy.

    Carry out a range of inventory control activities, either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.


    Requirements:
    B.S./B.A. in Accounting or Finance. CMA certification preferred.7+ years of post-grad accounting/finance experience.3+ years of staff leadership experience.
    Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
    Previous experience working in the manufacturing industry is required.


    Note:
    There is an opportunity for hybrid/remote work (i.e. 3 days onsite and 2 remote per week).


    Compensation:
