Are you ready to kickstart your welding journey with an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Welder/Operator for our cutting-edge Universal welder, famously known as the (NAP) machine.

Get ready to dive into the world of welding and operate state-of-the-art equipment to cut holes into pipes and weld on fittings with precision based on our blueprints.

• Type:

Full-time; Temp to Hire

• Schedule: 2nd Shift (Mon-Thur, 3PM – 1AM), half shift on Fri for mandatory OT as needed.

Job Description: As a Welder/Operator, you will be at the forefront of innovation, using our advanced equipment to cut holes into pipes and weld on fittings according to blueprints.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Welding outlets onto steel pipes to support the fire sprinkler industry.
• Performing specialty welding tasks such as spool pieces, flanges, headers, and more.
• Transitioning seamlessly from the welding station to the computer, where you'll assign each piece to the correct bundle and provide necessary paperwork to the bundler.

Qualifications:

• Welding Experience:

While experience is preferred, we welcome enthusiastic individuals who are just beginning their welding journey.

• Computer Skills:

Basic proficiency in computer operations.

• Communication Skills:

Strong communication and customer service abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure seamless workflow.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Weld Test:

A weld test will be conducted during the interview process to assess your skills and compatibility with the role.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
