- Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of clinical experience as Clinical RN
- BSN or equivalent health-related degree
- Registered Nurse License in Oregon State
- Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in financial and economic principles
- Knowledge of various regulatory and professional standards
- Masters degree
- Responsibilities:
- Communication:
- Effective communication with staff and providers
- Facilitate consensus building and conflict management
- Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Collaborate with nursing programs to provide necessary resources
- Clinical Practice:
- Act as an expert resource and maintain clinical knowledge
- Evaluate nursing practices and trends for optimal patient outcomes
- Develop competencies and ensure staff performance
- Collaborate with medical staff for patient care goals
- Quality Improvement:
- Implement and maintain quality monitoring processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support unit quality assurance and patient safety programs
- Leadership:
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain personnel
- Facilitate departmental relationships and encourage professional growth
- Participate in committees and task forces
- Ensure staff compliance with mandatory education
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage unit budgets
- Educate team members on financial implications
- Implement cost-effective measures
