Description

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of Ultrasound scans/exams and related procedures at a technical level. They utilize equipment to perform high-quality scans in the Neurology and/or Ultrasound Departments.

• Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with call from 4:30 p.m.-8:00 a.m. during week days and 24-hour call on weekends and holidays.

Vascular Technologist Qualifications

0. A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
1. A Technical Diploma in Radiologic Technology or Sonography is required.
2. An Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Radiography/Sonography/Other related field or Bachelor's Degree in Science/Radiography/Sonography/Other related field is preferred.
>Advanced-level certification by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS, RDMS, RVT or RVS) or Registered Vascular Specialist by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
