    Job Description:

    The Parts and Accessories Assistant Manager role is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the parts department. We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide exceptional customer service, lead by example, and drive sales growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Scheduling and Attendance: Ensure all employees adhere to their assigned work schedules and follow company policies related to absenteeism, reporting, and tardiness.
    • Department Goals and Objectives: Forecast goals and objectives for the department, striving to meet or exceed them.
    • Hiring and Training: Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
    • Customer Service: Meet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with necessary information.
    • Stocking and Inventory Management: Supervise stock order procedures, ensure incoming inventory is stocked correctly, and maintain a balanced inventory consistent with defined areas.
    • Pricing and Sales: Accurately price parts and accessories using proper pricing sources, keep the computer system up to date, and enforce safety requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Two or more years of related experience in an automotive parts leader or management position, preferred. Two or more years of sales experience required.
    • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
    • Apearance and Work Ethic: Professional appearance and work ethic.
    • Environment Adaptability: Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Licensing: Valid driver's license in the state where you will work and a good driving record.
