Job Summary
The Environment Health and Safety EHS programs at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research provide comprehensive professional services to employees working in general offices industrial shops experimental research laboratories and animal care environments.This position performs periodic inspection of grounds and facilities documents same using established procedures controls access to facilities through the use of access control system responds to scientific alarms requests for assistance e.g building let in personal escort spill response emergency response etc monitors systems activity including alarms let ins camera monitoring administers visitor management process monitors building automation system BAS logs issues in timely manner per established procedures completes log entries for issues responses in timely manner compliance with established procedures interacts internal external customers customer focus manner interacts peers colleagues professional manner completion daily tasks responsibilities conducts routine checks various equipment e.g fire extinguishers AEDs lights per established procedures complies all SES procedures completion daily tasks responsibilities adheres schedule requirements.
