- Process all incoming freight in a timely manner verifying according to purchase order numbers from Purchasing Department.
- Load and unload freight carriers; operate powered industrial truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Check incoming parts have the correct coding, if applicable; label each part with correct part number from Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERPS) and send to the Production Department, Shipping Department or Paint Shop.
- Assist vendors in pick-up of returned items.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items and records shortages; routes or delivers items to applicable departments.
- High school diploma; at least six months to a year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using materials resource planning system, Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and various proprietary software systems used by carriers.
