- Load and unload metal material into the machine bed.
- Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops.
- Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection.
- Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts.
- Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of a job or shift.
- Follow safety rules and ISO requirements.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- We supply highly cosmetic parts to large OEMs so our operators must evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection while working to meet efficiency expectations.
- This job is very physical and requires lifting, bending, and reaching and the ability to continually lift parts that range in weight from 5 to more than 35 lbs.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Must maintain a good attendance record, practice safe work habits, and follow safety rules and ISO requirements.
- Previous experience running a 5-axis Laser and/or stamping presses is preferred.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
- Reliable transportation is required.
