    **Job Title:** Surgical Technologist

    Location: UCHlth Broomfield Hospital, US:CO:Broomfield
    Department: BF Surgery OR
    FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
    Shift: Days
    Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour

    Summary:
    In this role, you will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

    Responsibilities:
    • Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
    • Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments.
    • Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
    • Passes instruments to physician during surgery.
    • Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
    • Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.

    Requirements:
    • High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
    • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
    • 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
    • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
