Job Description

American Portable Air is a portable cooling and heating rental company. We are looking for motivated Installer for its portable air conditioning products. We are a rental company providing 24 hour delivery service to its commercial customers. Good driving and background record a must. Must be able to drive 16' Box truck. No HVAC experience needed. Will have some rotating call duties on scheduled weekends and nights. Extra compensation for any after hours deliveries conducted. Delivery vehicle will be provided at branch location. If you are a motivated self starter, have good communication skills, clean record, great with customers, and want to be a part of a dynamic industry, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities and Duties

Mainly responsible for delivering and pickup including light install of portable cooling systems to commercial, industrial and special event customers. Deliveries will be conducted with 16' Box Truck. Box Truck driving experience recommended.

Communicates professionally with branch manager, customers, and management to schedule and assist deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.

Use of company vehicle for work activity.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or higher.

Able to load, unload and operate a delivery box truck.

Clean driving record.

Warehouse duties include, cleaning equipment, organizing rental units, assisting branch manager in other duties around office and warehouse.

Ability to maneuver equipment on casters and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Maintains company vehicles.

American Portable Air is a Drug Free company. All candidates will be required to take and pass a drug test before starting employment.

Salary: $19-$22 Hr
