    We are seeking PPBS Specialists at all levels of experience (Junior thru Senior and SME) to support the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) Task Order (TO).

    We are currently assembling our team of experienced professionals with a broad range of intelligence, operations, planning, data, training, and logistics solutions on an enterprise scale to advance technical capabilities and maximize the effectiveness of USARPAC programs, operations, and partnerships throughout the USARPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR).


    Job Description:


    The PPBS Specialist plans, develops, manages, and supports the DoD Planning, Program, and Budgeting System (PPBS), which includes an understanding of the Defense Planning Guidance.

    Incorporates extensive knowledge of the Army PPBS and how the Army creates plans and uses them to drive acquisition processes, especially in the creation of planning guidance, primarily the Army Plan, the Long-Range Research and Development Plan, and the Army Modernization Plan.


    Duties:

    • Reviews the ingest of cyber news feeds, signature updates, incident reports, threat briefs, and vulnerability alerts from external sources and determine its applicability to the PBS process.
    • Provides all-source analysis of cyberspace threats and activities during theater peacetime and contingency operations, feeding data for PPBS preparation.
    • Maintains multiple threat intelligence feeds from various sources (e.g., Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Army) that provide information and indicators on cyberspace threat activity, adversaries, and provide recommended mitigations) as part of PPBS development.
    • Gathers operational requirements, survey existing technical resources, consider the merits of various technical alternatives, and formulate options for execution by the command to develop the PPBS POM.
    • Analyze and determine the application and employment of CEMA to solve USARPAC operational deficiencies, incorporating data in to the PPBS process.
    • Analyzes OPLANs and orders to assist in determining PPBS POM requirements.
    • Assists in advocating to USINDOPACOM and Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) for capabilities to meet operational requirements in the POM.
    • Provides recommendations to USARPAC staff in setting organizational goals and operational support objectives ikn the POM.
    • Coordinates the inclusion of major projects with consideration of policies, plans, and products that shape and improve the POM.
    • Provides subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding USARPAC PPBS/POM needs, requirements, and positions relating to both near-term and long-term planning efforts.
    Qualifications


    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelors and five (5)+ years' of experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
