Job Duties:
Design, develop and implement control systems for paper manufacturing, including paper machines, supercalenders, roll wrapping, stock prep, boilers etc.
Controls systems range from DeltaV, ABB, WonderWare, electronic and pneumatic field instruments and single loop controllers to PLCs.
Troubleshoot problems with processes and hardware.
Design systems that can automate and improve manufacturing processes.
Work with instrumentation / controls technicians to plan preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with others to determine problems and implement solutions.
Provides technical assistance as needed by internal customers.
Performs system upgrades and modifications.
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage relations with vendors.
Define performance metrics.


RequirementsRequirements:

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.2 to 4 years of work experience in a related fieldProficient in computer-aided design and drafting softwareExcellent communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to determine customer needs to develop project specifications and scope.

Ability to interpret and implement specifications.
