    What You Will Do:

    As a key member of our elite team, you will play a crucial role in the system development process and collaborate with end users to translate business requirements into design specifications. You will engage with all levels of the business, ensuring that IT deliverables align with business needs, producing measurable results. More specifically:

    • Design, develop, and implement advanced automated software test plans to identify and resolve user issues and their origins.
    • Analyze risk factors and create documentation addressing software defect diagnoses and suggested solutions in diverse areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, retests, or usability.
    • Create and implement testing processes and oversee software application testing, leveraging expertise in computer science and software development principles, as well as cloud technologies, automation tools, and frameworks like Selenium and Appium, and programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
    • Coordinate the activities of project teams across multiple workstreams.
    • Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and procedures for unit, process, function, system integration, and acceptance testing. Review testing documentation, establish testing standards, define testing criteria, analyze test outcomes, and present results to developers and end users.
    • Establish software quality engineering methods and strategies encompassing functional, performance, regression, and roll-back testing scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
    • Oversee quality testing initiatives, including process design and standards, effort estimation, resource planning and allocation, and task and risk management, covering functional, performance, regression, and roll-back testing.
    • Act as a knowledge base for addressing complex issues related to the design and implementation of automated testing applications, and contribute as an expert in the software redesign process by assessing software development projects for quality assurance factors impacting functional requirements and design specifications.
    • Discuss integration with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or other relevant tools.
    • You will be accountable for devising and deploying cloud-based solutions for our clients using commercial cloud platforms. In this capacity, you will draw on your proficiency in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services to supply scalable and highly available solutions that meet our clients' business requirements. Extensive background in crafting and deploying cloud-based solutions utilizing commercial cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

    Technologies and Tools

    Must Have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
    • 14+ years of automation architecture experience and a proven track record of making a significant difference.
    • Proficient programming skills in at least one of the following languages – JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or Ruby.
    • Extensive experience with Playwright, Selenium, Appium.
    • Familiarity with integrating test frameworks with cloud test services, such as AWS, SauceLabs or BrowserStack.
    • Experience in comprehensive automation covering backend, web, and/or mobile applications using Cucumber, Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Appium.
    • Proven experience in writing intricate automation scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Continuous Integration, involving one or more of the following build/deploy/version control tools: Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash/GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket.
    • Experience in some or all of the following programming platforms: Linux and Bash scripting, JavaScript frameworks in HTML5/CSS3 context (such as AngularJS, jQuery, D3), RESTful APIs/JSON, Mobile development.
    • Hands-on experience working with databases and various data formats and related technologies for testing.
    • Capability to lead and guide members of the Automation Test team.
    • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
