    Overview:

    Main Street Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics is hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team at our office located in Forest Hill, MD This a part-time position working Fridays only from 7:45-2:00.

    If you're an energetic hygienist who is compassionate, dedicated, and loves working with kids, we'd love to have you on our team

    Previous RDH experience is always a plus, but we also encourage Hygiene students graduating soon, to apply as well. Must have an active hygiene license for the state of Maryland. New grads must be applying for license soon.

    Responsibilities:

    Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients.

    Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times

    Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist in Forest Hill, MD provides comprehensive oral hygiene dental treatment and education in compliance with state regulations.

    Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
    Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
    Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
    Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications:
    Active Dental Hygiene license for Maryland required
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
