- Monitor legal compliance and manage the site's relations with local government and
- Use available media to communicate safety and environmental policies and to coach or
- Coordinate emergency actions and carry out initial accident enquiries
- Order equipment and supplies
- Review operator standardized work instruction for PPE usage and other machine and
- Participate in Faurecia's HSE network
- Support the reporting of legal, insurance and other HSE indicators (e.g. lost time (FR0t),
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response actions (e.g. fire drill, tornado drill,
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
- Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization

- Administrate or participate in HSE audits per defined planning (Internal and External)
- Drive or participate in HSE training per defined planning
- Stop production in case of any Safety Hazards or environmental impact
- Decide on emergency response for an individual's safety condition (e.g. EMS call, sent
- Conduct risk analysis and provide improvement solutions to current working condition (e.g.
- Knowledge of HSE tools and methods: 7 Safety fundamentals, 5 why methodology, job
- Knowledge of national and local legislation
- General knowledge of automotive production plant technologies
- Strong teamwork sense
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, organizational, and administrative skills are essential
- Proficient level of English
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Health, Safety & Environment related degree
- Preferred: Internal or Lead Auditor in EMS, Health and Safety Management Systems (HSMS) or
- Experience in a plant or in an industrial environment
- Preferred: Workers Compensation claims management (USA)
- Preferred: Professional safety certifications preferred (i.e. Certified Safety Professional, Certified

HSE CoordinatorPosition Summary:
The role of the HSE Specialist is to provide support to the HSE Manager and
plant staff to ensure a safe workplace that complies with Faurecia rules and governmental
regulations related to health, safety and environmental activities.
