    SUMMARY
    Family Service League is seeking a

    full-time

    Program Director for the Home Safe program in Bay Shore.

    The Home Safe program provides in-home services to youth at risk of placement outside the home and their families, either due to CPS involvement or mental health difficulties.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Program Director will oversee and supervise a staff of 11 inclusive of care managers, intensive in-home workers, and program assistants.

    Conduct chart reviews.
    Ensure adherence to program, and agency standards.
    Ensure program meets contractual obligations.
    Generate timely reports.
    The Program Director will oversee outcome data.
    Interface with DSS and Children's SPOA.
    Perform risk management and identify and develop strategies to assist high risk clients.
    Conduct community outreach.
    The Program Director will monitor service dollar expenditures.
    Assist in crisis management.
    Interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and training staff.
    Review time records, schedules, and approve vacation/time off requests.
    Attending meetings as appropriate.
    All other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    Master's Degree in social work or a related field with at least 5 years of experience with youth and/or families or a Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field with 8 years of experience required.

    Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.
    Experience working with mental health and or DSS-involved individuals is a plus.

    Must possess good clinical, leadership, and organizational skills, excellent judgment, knowledge of community resources, and experience with or strong familiarity with case management, as well as the ability to lead a team.

    Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based perspective.
    Must be proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, and Electronic Health Records.
