Job Description:

Summary Of Function:

The manufacturing process engineer position is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met.

This position is hands-on and will troubleshoot problems with production and personally implement corrective actions.
The process engineer will research and purchase equipment or upgrades to existing equipment.


Roles And Responsibilities:
Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
Assess processes, perform measurements, and interpret data
Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
Develop best practices, methods, and innovative solutions to improve production and quality
Perform process simulations
Manage cost and time constraints
Perform risk assessments
Provide process documentation and operator instructions


Job Qualifications:
Excellent technical skills
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
CAD skills (AutoCad, CATIA)
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
PLC Experience (Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi)
BS degree in Engineering


Required Experience:
5+ years proven Process Engineering experience
Knowledge of equipment standards


Preferred Experience:
Experience with process simulation software
Automotive industry standards and experience
