    Job Description


    GENERAL FUNCTION


    Responsible for producing engineering specification, liaising closely with design department, procurement and site; and executing project schedule, targets and plan in compliance with the clients' contract, in a safe manner meeting both cost and schedule requirements.

    Technical

    Draft PMP, including project schedule, strategy etc under the instruction and guidance from PM

    Monitor the work progress according to schedule and take all necessary actions in the event of any delay

    Manage and deal with non-compliance issues and propose preventive and corrective measures

    Receive and verify equipment delivered on site


    Organize and coordinate with all stakeholders, including external parties, such as subcontractors to ensure the work is delivered according to the cost, schedule, quality, and safety aspect.

    Estimate and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials

    Plan, schedule and assist in testing and commissioning

    Documentation management as per ISO standards/ client requirement

    Prepare project progress reports

    Assist the Project Manager to manage the contract, cost, and schedule

    To provide a support role on project-related matters

    Management

    Manage and coordinate resources in the area of work, including site activities

    Safety

    Apply the Safety procedures for operations bound to their activities

    Quality

    Apply the Quality procedures for operations bound to their activities

    Qualifications

    BA in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental/Electrical Engineering

    EXPERIENCE EXPECTED

    • 5 year(s) of experience in project execution, preferably in water and wastewater projects

    COMPETENCIES EXPECTED

    Technical:
    Understand and apply basic engineering concepts, Read and understand engineering drawings (equipment layout, GA drawings, etc), Microsoft Excel and Word, SmartSheet/Microsoft Project
