Position Title:Business Analyst III (US)

Job Description:
Location: Primarily work from home; will come onsite (Pulse Point) for onboarding, training, or as otherwise required by managers

Shift:

M-F; 8:30am-5:00pm Pacific Standard Time Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

Requirements:
a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Preferred:
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly

Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.

Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
