    Description


    Selectek is partnering with a firm near Charlotte, North Carolina to hire a highly-qualified Mechanical Engineer on a direct hire basis.

    Candidates will be focused on HVAC system design for a company that specializes in industrial projects. Our client is moving quickly to interview candidates with their desired skills and characteristics

    Expected Pay Range:
    $100,000-$120,000 annual salary

    Location:
    Charlotte, North Carolina


    Job Duties:

    • Develop and design HVAC system solutions for large, complex jobs in a range of facilities
    • Assist with initial conceptual design
    • Survey jobs and develop solutions for customers
    • Manage projects through completion
    • Budget the job costs
    • Perform final designs and generate drawings for permitting
    • Travel to work sites as required: could be up to 30% of the year, sites are mostly around NC and SC

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of three years of experience
    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD
    • Experience with HVAC system design and equipment operation
    • Strong with problemsolving and strategic thinking
    • Ideal candidates hold PE or are able to obtain it

    In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
