    Job Title: Inventory Control Support Work Shift:
    • Evening
    Work Days:
    • Monday-Friday
    Shift Start Time: 12:00 PM Shift End Time: 8:30 PM Job Description:

    As an Inventory Control Support, you will play a critical role in managing and replenishing surgical supplies at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring safe patient care and maintaining a secure environment within our facilities.

    Experience:
    • One year of experience in inventory control, materials management, or purchasing
    • One year of experience in inventory control computer system and data entry
    • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in a healthcare setting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and/or Excel
    Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    Certification Summary:
    • No professional certifications required
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Follow established processes to maintain adequate levels of supplies while minimizing outages and overstocks using available tools
    • Run daily order replenishment reports
    • Receive in-transit items and manage stock levels
    • Research products and provide substitution suggestions
    • Transfer inventory between locations as needed
    • Perform quality checks on location uploads
    • Assist with product recalls
    • Maintain accurate files and data on all purchased materials
    • Prepare for annual inventory and complete monthly checks of expiration dates
    • Maintain shelf labeling and prepare for cycle counts
    • Assist with instrument repair program and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders
    • Answer phones and adhere to safety protocols and regulations
    • Attend staff meetings and educational opportunities
