    SITE MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST

    (May be fully remote or hybrid in Madison, WI)

    Artful Home is looking for a team player, who appreciates what we do, to join our Marketing team as a Site Merchandising Specialist. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing Artful Home's online shopping experience and driving sales through effective merchandising strategies.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Site Management and Tools Utilization: Manage site features, tools, and promotion campaigns execution. Leverage tools and processes for campaign planning and execution, ensuring alignment with objectives.
    • Strategic Site Optimization: Lead the optimization of site rankings and user experience through data analytics, making improvements in product placement, category organization, and search functionality. Ensure alignment with brand standards and collaborate with Merchandising for accuracy.
    • Product Detail Page Management: Own the end-to-end process of launching new product pages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and conversion optimization. Collaborate with Merchandising and Creative to develop compelling product content and imagery.
    • Digital Business Support: Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategies aimed at achieving sales and profitability targets. Manage overall site experience alignment with brand objectives.
    • Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs. Manage the promotional calendar and campaign execution.
    • Promotional Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a promotional calendar in line with business objectives, analyzing past performance to inform future strategies. Focus on driving profitability focusing on high-margin promotions. Share calendar with key partners for alignment and coordination, ensuring consistency across channels.
    • Data Analysis and Competitive Monitoring: Analyze site metrics and customer behavior data to identify trends and optimization opportunities. Stay updated on competitors and industry trends
    • Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Manage ongoing reporting, including weekly/monthly/seasonal/annual reporting and event recaps. Continuously monitor e-commerce business performance and identify optimization opportunities.
    • Insights Communication: Regularly communicate product and promotional insights to key partners (Merchandising, Leadership, inventory, digital agency) for optimization. Provide recommendations based on performance data to drive effectiveness.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with key partners like Analytics, Merchandising, Leadership, CRM to understand performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure alignment on merchandising strategies and business objectives.
    • Project Management and Business Shifts: Actively manage projects, categories, and promotions, ensuring alignment with objectives. Support necessary business shifts and contingency planning.
    • Competitive Landscape Monitoring: Keep abreast of the competitive landscape, monitoring competitors' activities, and identifying opportunities for differentiation.

    The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Passion for eCommerce marketing.
    • 2-5+ years of experience in eCommerce or digital marketing.
    • Deep understanding of critical needs of ecommerce operations and the business, ensuring products and promotions can be successfully executed.
    • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, heat mapping tools like Microsoft Clarity, CMS, rankings and recommendations systems like Algolia/Searchspring/Sitecore, popular ecommerce platforms like Shopify).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Creative thinking skills to include a strategic mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
    • Ability to work quickly while effectively managing executional details and has an aptitude to manage multiple projects.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
