    Extreme is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Director of Product Marketing, Cloud Edge with a proven track record of success to join the team.

    Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, this role requires domain knowledge of enterprise networking, management, and security as well as cloud architectures.

    The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy to drive growth of our cloud-managed wired and wireless portfolio.

    You will own the product marketing plan and work in close partnership with product management, enablement, sales, channel, and corporate marketing teams to help expand this core segment of the business.

    Looked to as an expert for synthesizing customer care-abouts with technology, you'll be responsible for developing compelling sales plays, messaging, and content to influence the adoption of Extreme's Universal Wired and Wireless solutions.

    Key deliverables include marketing plans; content for sales enablement, partners, analysts; videos, blogs; and other marketing assets. You will also be presenting to senior executives within the company as well as at partner and customer events.

    With experience from marketing enterprise networking solutions, you possess strong knowledge of switching, wireless, cloud management, network security and a general understanding of AIOps, network fabric, security, and cloud computing.

    Advocating the value of Extreme's solutions across switching, Wi-Fi, fabric, AIOps, security/ZTNA, and Services across a broad range of programs and initiatives ranging from product launches, virtual events, campaigns, content, training, and more.



    • Developing or co-authoring various outbound content such as: solution briefs, data sheets, solution web pages, messaging documents, white papers, analyst write ups, eBooks, blogs, video scripts, and customer case studies to help capture market and buyer mindshare.
    • 10+ years of product marketing experience with an equipment vendor, service provider, systems integrator, or reseller.
    • Exceptional writing and communications aptitude.
    • Excellent project management aptitude.
    • Ability to operate autonomously with limited supervision.
    • Bachelor's in business, marketing, engineering, computer science, or liberal arts.
