Founded in 1987, the company has grown from a neighborhood yard care service into a full-scale landscape design and build firm serving the region from its home base in Hermantown.
Every project begins with a personalized consultation to ensure the final result reflects the client's vision—making Miller Creek a trusted partner for beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawn and Landscaping Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
It's a highly visible, revenue-driving role responsible for managing existing clients while actively developing new business through networking, prospecting, and strategic account management.
We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary of $50,000–$65,000 (DOE) plus uncapped commissionAdditional benefits include:

- Minnesota Sick & Safe Time (1 hour earned per 30 hours worked)
- 401(k) with employer match up to 4% after 6 months of full-time employment
Requirements for our Lawn and Landscaping Account Manager:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing, construction management, horticulture, or related field; equivalent industry experience strongly considered
Lawn care and/or landscape construction
Facilities services, snow removal, property services/management, or related trades
- Proven experience managing long sales cycles and relationship-based selling
- Demonstrated success growing existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Experience working with clients such as developers, business owners, property/facilities managers, and asset managers
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and collaborating with operations and estimating teams
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable owning a revenue target
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals (target: ~$1M annually)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Drive $1M+ in annual sales through maintenance, enhancements, and snow removal services
- Conduct B2B outreach targeting developers, businesses, HOAs, property owners, facilities managers, asset managers, and other decision-makers
- Manage assigned account leads and oversee the full sales cycle
- Develop and present bids for services in collaboration with operations and estimating teams
- Cross-sell additional services to existing clients
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned accounts
- Build long-term partnerships that lead to repeat business and expanded scopes of work
- Maintain consistent client communication to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Operations Managers to ensure accurate proposals and seamless project handoffs
- Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and community engagements
- Build and maintain a strong local network
- Proactively identify new opportunities through relationship-building—not just cold calling
- Manage communication with third-party marketing vendors
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and third-party marketing partners
- Perform other duties as assigned
