    The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) in St.

    Peter is seeking a dynamic Assessment Psychologist to work on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of individuals who have sexually offended.

    We are committed to being a leader in the industry, implementing the latest research throughout all aspects of our program.

    With great support from a dedicated and experienced clinical management team, as well as organizational support from our senior leadership team, you will:


    • Provide expertise in the specialized field of sex offense specific treatment, assessment, and research as a crucial member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
    • Conduct integrated psychological assessments to address a rage of referral questions, including those related to psychosexual, mental health, personality, and/or cognitive/neuropsychological functioning as well as other treatment concerns as clinically indicated.
    • Present information regarding psychological assessment results, treatment progress, and other pertinent clinical data to appropriate authorities within the facility, the Special Review Board, the Minnesota Courts, and other pertinent state and community agencies, as required.
    • Provides leadership and clinical direction to program delivery staff regarding the overall program treatment model and treatment process, including facilitating training, consultation, and supervision of predoctoral interns as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications

    To qualify, applicants must:

    • Possess a Ph.
    D. or Psy.
    D. in clinical psychology; AND


    • Be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist by the Minnesota Board of Psychology (LP)*; AND
    • Doctoral level Graduates working towards Licensure: A Psychologist 3 may be hired on a provisional appointment and receive supervision under a Licensed MSOP Staff Psychologist, while working towards Licensure.
    • One year of post-license experience, AND
    • Have knowledge and experience in assessments and integrated report writing.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in delivering mental health/sex offense specific treatment in a secure and/or residential setting.
