    Arxada is looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager who will manage our packaging operations, our warehouse, and our logistics team. The role is located in Helena, Arkansas. The role is responsible for the overall performance of the inventory and shipping departments. This person focuses on ensuring on time shipment and inventory accuracy targets are met. If errors are found within the process appropriate actions are expected to be taken to mitigate recurrence. This position establishes and continuously develops product segregation plans to ensure safe storage of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Follows general management and safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe practices are followed
    • Promotes and maintain adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety and Quality Standards as defined by the, SQF, HACCP and GMP Programs.Plans and coordinates manpower to meet Inventory Control requirements.
    • Plans and coordinates manpower to meet Shipping requirements.
    • Must be knowledgeable of all Inventory Control and Shipping policies and procedures.
    • Ensure all staff are properly trained on regulatory and safety guidelines.
    • Determine optimal organization structure and staffing levels for the Warehouse and Shipping teams. Hire, train, develop, promote, discipline staff.
    • Ensure all orders and transfers are shipped on-time and in full. Measure and report on-time delivery performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Responsible for managing the operation of Inventory Control and associated processes of receiving, cycle counts, adjustments, data entry, and general organization of all inventories in all warehouses, carports, and overhangs plant wide.
    • This person is responsible for owning non-conformances associated with but not limited to lost product, Inventory adjustments, warehouse transfers, purchase order receipts for Raw Material/Packaging and missed shipments.
    • Assist in Inventory Control development and Inventory control procedures within our company.
    • Leads year end inventory count.
    • Reports and participates in incident investigations.
    • Monitors scheduling for shipping pick up appointments to ensure efficiency.
    • Directs and controls daily activities to ensure quality performance by shipping and inventory personnel.
    • Must be proficient in modules (1-3) of the Chempax Software System and can train other team members, as necessary.
    • Maintain and promote good housekeeping practices.
    • Help monitor rework on hand, working with the lab and production to ensure dispositions are created and carried out in a timely manner.
    • Ensures Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
    • Wears and enforces the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.
    • Develop and maintain KPIs and goals for the Inventory and Shipping teams.
    • Creates, updates and revises department SOPs Records when necessary.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications.
    • Contribute to overall team effort by accomplishing related projects and helping as needed.
    • Other duties assigned.
    Qualifications & Experience:
    • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related field (preferred) and 5-10 warehouse years' experience..
    • Experience in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, production planning or a comparable position.
    • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methods a plus.
    • Forklift license preferred
    • HAZMAT School certification must be obtained
