    Ready Mix Truck Operator Job Description

    A Ready Mix Truck Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient transportation of concrete and other materials to customers in both rural and urban settings.

    • Conduct thorough pre-service and post-service checks, including the cab inspection.
    • Diligently review delivery tickets to guarantee accurate product delivery.
    • Carry, lift, and load additional items for customer delivery.
    • Operate the vehicle to transport concrete to job sites, discharge the cargo, and return to the depot repeatedly throughout the day using both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
    • Maintain balance while walking, climbing, and standing on uneven terrain in various weather conditions.
    • Foster effective communication with clients and dispatch staff while upholding professional representation of the organization.

    The position necessitates a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an airbrakes endorsement and a current medical certification. Perks include medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee benefits, retirement plans, paid leave, and holiday compensation.
