    Seeking an Underwriter for an growing Asset Management firm in Miami As an Underwriter specializing in commercial, residential, and mortgage banking, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating loan applications, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

    Your expertise will contribute to sound decision-making, risk mitigation, and fostering lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Analyze loan applications for commercial, residential, and mortgage banking transactions.
    Conduct thorough financial assessments, including income analysis, credit risk evaluation, and collateral valuation.
    Interpret complex financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents.
    Collaborate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to gather necessary information and documentation.
    Assess loan eligibility based on underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, and regulatory compliance.
    Prepare detailed underwriting reports and recommendations for approval or denial of loan applications.
    Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless transaction processing.
    Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in underwriting.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in underwriting commercial, residential, and mortgage banking loans.
    Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and property valuations.
    Strong understanding of underwriting principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with clients professionally.
    Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and maintaining high-quality standards.
    Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
