    Position Summary:

    As a key member of our rapidly growing organization, our Sales Associate ultimately acts as the face of our company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships.

    You will be responsible for selling our fine products to restaurants and caterers, hotels and retail establishments by performing the following duties :

    What youll do:
    Produce sales revenue through the development and growth of new sales and by increasing sales with existing accounts.

    Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from networking, newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

    Travel throughout assigned territory and/or call on regular and prospective customers to secure orders.
    Display or demonstrate product using samples or catalog, and emphasize saleable features.
    Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
    Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
    Prepare reports of business transactions and keep updated expense accounts.
    Work with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
    Track stock levels.
    Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
    Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.


    About you:


    One to two years of relevant experience in sales is highly desiredPrevious sales experience in restaurant, food sales, or professional catering, and/or working as a Chef is preferredHigh energy, positive and enthusiastic attitude, a strong team player profileFoster a positive and innovative atmosphere which encourages people to commit to the task in hand and go beyond the call of duty in order to achieve key objectivesDriven and motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activities despite obstaclesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and initiativesOutstanding verbal and written communication skills, developing a culture of participation and involvementGather facts and figures, monitor self and others and achieve goals in a timely and factual mannerSelf-starter, must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the jobBring a sense of urgency and work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environmentCollege Degree desired but not requiredCandidates must live in the assigned geographic sales area.#LI-LD1The above job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
