Fort Worth, Texas, OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician JobClinical Role:
Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist Serving more than 50,000 patients each year, this hospital is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke and surrounding areas Full-time is considered hour shifts a month Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible) Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit The hospital has consistently earned the Stage 7 Award from Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Analytics for advances in health information technology, offering patients the latest in interactive and digital equipment.
In addition to providing quality care in a number of medical services such as women's health, emergency care and heart and vascular, our employees spend a substantial number of hours volunteering outside of the hospital.
