    Role Summary/Purpose:

    Come join the Consumer Engagement pillar on the newly created Consumer Engagement and Brand team within the Growth organization. We are a customer-led, innovative and top-talented marketing team that leads enterprise-wide consumer marketing strategies to deepen engagement and loyalty.

    The VP, Lifecycle Marketing leader is responsible for enterprise-wide/cross-portfolio strategies for high-tenured (post early engagement) Cardholders, identifying best practices to be leveraged across the business. Additionally, this role provides deep consultative and strategic lifecycle support for some of our largest card accounts as well lead the design of turn-key, off the shelf support. We are looking for a marketing superstar. You have a strong marketing acumen, built from experience creating and executing high-impact marketing campaigns, being well versed in best-in-class strategies and tactics and having a keen eye on the competitive landscape. You think strategically to identify opportunities to drive sales growth while rallying others to get behind you. You will partner closely with client marketing leaders, cross-functional teams and key senior level stakeholders. You will also collaborate with the other team members of the Consumer Engagement team. You have a good understanding of Cobrand and/or general-purpose card marketing and you have an overall will to win in this space.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Lead loyalty strategies for high tenured cardholders including tenured customer journey, customer segmentation, spend and balance growth strategies and optimization. This includes leading cross-functional teams to move efforts forward.
    • Identify hyper targeted, general purpose card approach to test-and-learn plans, drive innovation and personalization strategies most effective in driving growth
    • Identify segment-level (e.g. Best Customer, Low Engaged, High Transactor, etc)
    • Scale learnings for commercialization across the enterprise or future business development efforts
    • Provide strategic marketing leadership for multiple client relationships including Walgreens and Verizon, develop playbooks for other client relationships
    • Manage direct reports
    • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 14 years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries.
    • A minimum of 10 years of relevant existing customer marketing experience to include:
    • Experience in end-to-end consumer marketing including test-and-learn planning, segment marketing and lifecycle marketing
    • Marketing leadership skills (analytic and creative) with significant exposure to consumer facing programs/products.
    • Experience in cobrand card space/general purpose card space
    • People management experience
    • Travel as needed (Less than 25%)

    The salary range for this position is 130, ,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

    Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

    Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • You must be 18 years or older
    • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
    • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
    • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
