The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support to the Sales team assisting in coordinating sales efforts maintaining organized documentation ensuring communication between departments for hotel bookings meetings and special events.- Provide support to the Sales team in executing contracts proposals and correspondence.
- Assist with sales efforts including soliciting new business selling guestrooms meeting space catering services conducting site tours providing assistance for hotel related events such as parties blitzes overseeing social networking sites marketing efforts through direct mail projects sales packets promotional materials coordinating details for group reservations meeting rooms event setups ensuring timely accurate delivery requested services preparing managing Banquet Event Orders BEOs distributing appropriate departments maintaining organized filing trace system all sales related documentation managing meeting room reservations coordinating setup equipment requirements answering incoming calls providing information routing calls appropriate team members producing weekly productivity reports taking accurate minutes during meetings ensuring timely completion monthly group status reports assisting group leaders maintaining office supplies inventory functionality office equipment performing other duties assigned support Sales team enhance guest experience treating guests respect courtesy all interactions conducted courteous professional manner aligning company standards collaborating other departments seamless service delivery enhancing overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Education College Associate degree preferred equivalent combination experience education Experience Minimum one year secretarial administrative experience preferably hotel environment sales experience preferred strong organizational detail oriented skills multitasking effectively excellent verbal written communication skills availability meet guests assist checkins work weekends required self motivated able work independently thrive fast paced environment ability lift occasionally handle equipment computers printers
