The Unit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day unit operation including direct supervision of unit staff.This role interacts with physicians, nursing staff, other unit staff, and other departments and interdisciplinary team members on a daily basis and provides clinical support to patient/resident care by exception only.
The position facilitates and fosters interdisciplinary participation in patient/resident care activities and coaches, mentors, motivates and empowers clinical staff.The Unit Manager creates a climate of interdepartmental respect and collaboration, and adheres and models the Covenant Health mission, vision and values.
Description:
The Unit Manager will over see the Outpatient mental Health program as well as the Emergency Mental Health Program and Psychology.
The work impacts the level of patient/client care by ensuring that clinical practice reflects the most current, evidence-based techniques and standards.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in Addiction and Mental Health preferably in a community or outpatient setting. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
Strong communication skills. Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders. Ability to Multitask. Leads by example in all professional capacities.
