    Position Description:

    The Assistant Subcontracts Administrator will work with the Contracts Manager and other Subcontracts Administrators on a dynamic team who will be responsible for providing a variety of subcontracts administrative support and supporting subcontract closeout efforts. As an Assistant Subcontracts Administrator, you will work under close supervision by members of the Contracts and Procurement team to process non disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, subawards, and subaward closeouts. Primary job duties require exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to the business.

    We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.

    The grade, title and salary for this position will be determined once an assessment is completed on the selected candidate's education, experience, and skills (level assigned will be as either an Assistant Subcontracts Administrator or Subcontracts Administrator I).

    Essential Functions

    • Assists in the drafting of subcontractual documentation, including new modifications and related subcontract requirements.
    • Assists in the preparation of requests for proposals, various types of subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, and other related documents.
    • Performs cost and price analysis of proposals with structured guidance.
    • Assists with the review of subcontractor invoices and handling of any invoicing issues.
    • Assists Subcontract Administrators and Contracts Administrators with the preparation of closeouts.
    • Coordinates and communicates with internal and external personnel at various levels to get required results.
    • Maintains subcontract and purchase order files, as well as other contractual records.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Provide assistance as required to the Contracts Manager.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree, or within 3 months of obtaining a degree; Associates degree and two or more years related experience; or a High School diploma or equivalent with six or more years of related experience.
    • Exceptional computer skills, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, with co-workers and team members.
    • Experience working as a team member engaged in tasks requiring teamwork and performance to schedules.
    • Ability to serve external and internal customers and prioritize these responsibilities, in order to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to travel at company discretion.
    • This position will need the ability to access US only data systems US Citizenship is required.
