We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Distribution Center Operations to oversee our state-of-the-art facility in Miami, FL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day management, and overall performance of our distribution center operations.

This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, and e-commerce fulfillment operations.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize distribution center operations, including inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.

Lead and motivate a large team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and managers to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across all areas of the distribution center.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, customer service, and sales, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operational processes.

Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, and DOT regulations.
Implement best practices in warehouse management, material handling, and inventory control to optimize space utilization and minimize errors.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business objectives and drive profitability.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the distribution center team.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in distribution center management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale operations.

Proven track record of success in managing e-commerce fulfillment operations, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team of associates and managers.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant technology platforms.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
