    The experienced Advanced Network Design Engineer we seek will provide technical support to customers in installing and troubleshooting issues with GDMS Cyber products, and teach customers how to successfully deploy, configure and install these products within their networks.

    Perform technical product support via telephone, email and on occasion, via field support
    Perform hardware and software system testing and configuration
    Develop, review and interpret technical documentation, including network diagrams
    Perform onsite and offsite technical Training on GDMS products
    Provide product training in such a way to stimulate and motivate students
    Develop and proof read training materials
    Participate in rotating, after hours, on-call telephone support
    Travel 25% after instructor qualification

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
    Develop and provide innovative and creative solutions to a variety of difficult problems of considerable scope and complexity, using established precedent and policies
    Display initiative on assignments, exercise independent judgment and professionally execute projects with little direction
    Support and assist in the design and planning of network systems
    Solid written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in interpersonal situations and before large groups of people/students
    Ability to develop and proof training materials

    Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task

    Experience in administrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, network systems which includes firewalls, DNS, VPN, LAN, WLAN Cisco/Juniper products, firewalls, and Windows servers.

    Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphic presentation, and intermediate knowledge and/or experience using Microsoft Office applications; Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Visio, and Outlook, and Dynamics 365
    CCNA Certification
    Network + Certification
    Active Secret clearance
