- Administer local, intravenous, or general anesthesia to patients undergoing dental procedures
- Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures
- Ensure patients' comfort and safety before, during, and after dental treatments
- Collaborate with dentists, oral surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia options and post-operative care instructions
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in dental anesthesiology
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in dental anesthesiology
- Current license to practice dentistry and administer anesthesia in the state of Arizona
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
