    We have an immediate opening for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team of talented engineers/architects supporting a large Federal Agency in Washington DC.

    The Team Lead will ensure implementation of best practice solutions for network data communications services.

    They will manage and implement network solutions using Cisco network products and technologies including but not limited to Cisco ISR 43xx/45xx/ASR 100x/Cisco Cat 9k/Cat 4k; OSPF/BGP/IPSEC VPN/DMVPN, Spanning Tree, Virtual Switch Stack (VSS), IP Subnetting, IP Routing and Switching.

    They will interface with Government and Program leads to ensure deliverables and projects are met on time.


    The Engineers will provide Tier 3/4 support to customers in the continental US, document data networks, prepare and perform migrations plans.

    Description of Daily Duties:

    • Provide support to internal teams and Federal Agency on data networks and applications.
    • Work with internal teams and Federal Agency to design and implement data solutions leveraging Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Hub and Spoke Topologies (IPSEC VPNs/DMVPN/SDWAN), Switching technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS).
    • Manage and maintain data network and systems using Cisco Product lines.
    • Provision new sites using Enterprise standards.
    • Monitor Network performance and take steps to ensure optimal performance.
    • Recommend solutions, improvements, strategy, and architecture for data networks
    • Resolve issues related to Data Networks
    • Implement and troubleshoot enterprise network -related solutions/incidents/system outages
    • Support Network Architect in designing network engineering initiatives for all project-related and ongoing operations support for network communications services
    • Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from Delivery/Operations Teams
    • Coordinate planned maintenance activities, coordinate/facilitate planned/unplanned service outages, and ongoing project-related support activities.
    What are we looking for?


    • Public Trust (Must be US Citizen)
    • Cisco certifications preferred (not required ):CCNA, CCNP
    • 7+ years of experience with data networks with emphasis in Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Switching Technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS), IPSEC VPNs, DMVPN. \\Experience should be hands on\\
    • Experience with Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, and ServiceNow desirable
    • Cisco Platforms and Adjunct Administration, Maintenance, and Installation
    • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams and managers as a service provider
    • Strong team player and team mentor.
    • Experience with DMVPN/SDWAN Preferred.
