    Job Title: RN - Med Surg

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical unit. As a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg department, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with various medical and surgical conditions. Your primary duties will include:

    Responsibilities:

    • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories.
    • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Performing diagnostic tests and analyzing results to provide appropriate interventions.
    • Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
    • Ensuring patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
    • Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transitions between departments.
    • Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to uphold quality standards of care.
    • Participating in ongoing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

    Job Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state regulatory authority.
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Less than 6 months of experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
    • Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting positive outcomes.

    Certification/ License:

    • RN license OF IA.
    • Compact Allowed
    • BLS card through AHA.

    What is the schedule? * –

    Shift: Day/Night rotating shifts: 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs/week
