    In this high-visibility position, you'll serve as the face of U.S. engagement with Iran. One day you may be drafting talking points for senior officials, the next you're prepping them for a primetime interview. Your words will travel across the world's most influential media outlets.

    Requirements

    **About You**

    You have an unquenchable thirst for staying ahead of the latest Iranian developments across politics, culture, and society. You understand the intricacies and themes driving media narratives.

    More than just intellectual curiosity, you back it up with:
    • A Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, foreign affairs or related field
    • Exhaustive knowledge of U.S. foreign policy on Iran and the wider Near East region
    • Ability to rapidly synthesize complex information into clear, concise messaging
    • Experience working under tight deadlines with many spinning plates
    • Top-notch writing skills to craft speeches, scripts, and more
    An ideal candidate will also bring:
    • A Master's degree in a related field
    • Prior experience working with the Department of State
    • Demonstrated media expertise on Iranian affairs
    • An active U.S. security clearance
