A Day In The Life Of A QMT With QCC:
- Perform administrative functions to keep patient data current using company communication channels
- Provide first aid, emergency medical services, health examinations, or medical services to patients
- Distribute medications to patients under physicians and mental health orders
- Educate employees/patients on health and illness prevention
- Record and chart data associated with incidents, health history, and injuries at the worksite
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
- Exercise proper judgment when selecting methods and techniques for treatment
You Would Thrive In This Position If:
- You are passionate about Mental Health and care for unique demographics
- You have experience in settings like Psych, Mental Health, Corrections, Hospital/ER, Ambulance, etc.
- You demonstrate a measure of grit, backbone, and discernment, not easily swayed
- You take pride in your work, charting, and performing at the highest level
- You enjoy drama-free environments without dealing with patient families, State Surveys, cleaning, bathing, lifting, etc., and you are supported by your company. Location:
Cass County Correctional Facility
Shift Openings:
Full-Time 7AM-5PM/Rotating Weekends
Requirements:
- Valid EMT, Paramedic, or QMA/CMA licensure
- A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
- Capable of pushing, pulling, reaching, and bending frequently
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
