    Description
    Title: Major Gift Officer, Donor Relations

    Overview: Enhance Philanthropic Relationships

    Responsibilities:
    • Proactively manage and develop major gift prospects.
    • Initiate contact with potential major gift donors.
    • Create cultivation strategies for major gift donors.
    • Guide donors towards solicitation and closure.
    • Maintain ethical stewardship and strong donor relationships.
    • Prepare and present major gift proposals.
    • Collaborate to maximize planned giving opportunities.
    • Work with teams to achieve fundraising goals.
    Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor's degree

    Experience: 8-10 years in major gift fundraising

    Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

    Proficiency in: Microsoft Suite; CRM software

    Additional:
    • Support organizational mission and vision.
    • Proven success in managing and closing gifts.
    • Understand major gift donors' needs and interests.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective communication with diverse personalities.
    • Knowledge of policy issues and conservative movement.
    • Willingness to travel extensively.
