    Job DescriptionDescription:

    The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing one or more underground and aerial telecommunication construction crews and will ensure that the installation, maintenance, and/or repair are completed safely, timely, and accurately. Provides timely updates and redlines. The position requires a background in underground & aerial telecommunications construction and candidates must be familiar with bucket trucks, utility lines/poles and various other telecommunications construction equipment. The Construction Supervisor must be able to use cable placement equipment and tools to assist in training new crew members and the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project
    • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
    • Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project
    • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project
    • Read and relay prints
    • Complete redlines and production reports daily
    • Report status updates on weekly conference calls

    * This is a full-time opportunity with room for career advancement *

    Pay Range is $65k - $75k depending on experience level *

    * Per Diem available for overnight stays (reasonable conditions apply) *

    Requirements:

    Essential Functions:

    • Previous Telecom industry supervisory experience required
    • Work safely, with or without supervision
    • Coordinate the activities of others
    • Work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods
    • Must be able to lift and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment
    • The ability to work aloft, either from a ladder, aerial lift device, or by gaffing
    • Excellent manual dexterity
    • Able to organize workload to determine priority of duties
    • Communicate with company personnel, customers, and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed
    • Understand and operate equipment, including, but not limited to an aerial lift device, lasher, and hand tools
    • Must be able to travel regularly between KS and OK
