    SUMMARY/PURPOSE

    The Program Director provides administrative leadership and operational oversight of the Texas Home Visiting program and provides supervision to staff.

    CLIENT AGE/POPULATION SERVED

    Demonstrates competence and continues training in age-specific competencies for infant through adult clients.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Start training in Family Check-Up at time of hire, completing all requirements to be certified in the FCU supervisor model.
    • Ensure fidelity of Family Check-Up model and work closely with FCU consultant. Implement specific components of FCU model-including MI strategies
    • Provides direct supervision and support to the Family Intervention Specialists, including completion of annual performance evaluation.
    • Observes and reviews videos/live sessions to comply with FCU and reviews with staff - collaborative nature-supporting staff in professional development goals
    • Completes Fidelity Assessments
    • Monitors and evaluates program ensuring the quality and effectiveness of program, while assuring that outcomes are met.
    • Manages program within budget, monitoring results monthly to assure fiscal goals are met.
    • Responsible for reviewing and evaluating effectiveness/satisfaction data and implementing necessary changes to improve program quality and achieve established outcomes.
    • Participates in strategic planning process with Leadership team to develop program growth.
    • Develops and oversees the completion of performance expectations.
    • Hires staff in coordination with Human Resources.
    • Assists in maintaining safety for the physical office environment.
    • Liaison with DFPS, the courts, and community partners, assessing community needs and assuring positive relationships.
    • Assures that recorded documentation and management information data is complete and accurate.
    • Advises Vice President of critical trends, problems, or events in program.
    • Implements Saint Francis' policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms. Ensures clients' rights are protected.
    • Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM EDUCATION LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be 21 years of age.
    • Must pass a drug screen and TB Skin Test.
    • FBI Fingerprint Check.
    • Pass a Centralized Background Check through the Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary.
    • Must have validdriver'slicense and reliable transportation.
    • Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field, required.
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • Mandated reporter
    • Motivational Interviewing experience and/or training
    • Receives training in trauma informed practice and incorporates knowledge in day-to-day practice
    • Able to relate, communicate and work with multiple and diverse internal and external constituents, including staff, clients, DFPS, community agencies and the court systems
    • Team player that supports corporate decisions and Saint Francis' vision, mission, and ministry
    • Demonstrates strong leadership skills in the below areas:
