    Electrical Engineer

    Your Opportunity

    As an Electrical Engineer, you will take the lead in designing and engineering various projects of different sizes and complexities. Your role will involve being the Engineer-of-Record, responsible for project deliverables and applying your expertise to size, select, and specify electrical systems according to codes and standards. Your tasks will range from field investigations to business development, with a focus on water/wastewater projects.

    Your Key Responsibilities

    • Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects of varying complexity.
    • Evaluates, selects, and engineers electrical systems for projects.
    • Develops designs through sketches and models.
    • Guides junior engineers and designers.
    • Manages project scope, budget, and schedule.
    • Conducts quality assurance and reviews project deliverables.
    • Assists in developing new standards for the electrical group.
    • Oversees multiple projects and field reviews.

    Qualifications

    Your Capabilities and Stredentials

    • Industry knowledge and application of electrical and building codes.
    • Strong understanding of project document production in the water industry.
    • Proficiency in electrical systems and engineering concepts.
    • Ability to lead teams through project phases.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with industry software and mentoring others.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Licensed Professional Engineer with 7-8 years of experience.

    Office-based role with occasional field work. Exposure to construction and industrial environments may be required.
